Terms of Use

Effective date: April 29, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DeepSound, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the app or website.

Use of DeepSound

DeepSound provides tools for loading your Music library, controlling playback, viewing track metadata, exploring artwork, and researching songs, credits, personnel, recording history, and music context. You may use DeepSound only in compliance with these Terms of Use and applicable laws.

Music Library and Playback

DeepSound depends on Apple Music, MusicKit, the macOS Music app, and permissions granted on your Mac. Some playback, metadata, artwork, AirPlay, or library features may depend on your Apple account, local library, device settings, network connection, and Apple service availability.

Research Features

DeepSound research features may use third-party databases, public web sources, catalog services, and AI model providers to produce summaries and answers. Research outputs may contain incomplete, uncertain, or source-dependent information. You should verify important credits, personnel, legal, or publishing details against authoritative sources.

Acceptable Use

You may not use DeepSound to:

  • Violate laws, regulations, or the rights of others.
  • Attempt to bypass Apple Music, MusicKit, subscription, DRM, or access controls.
  • Upload, submit, or request unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive content.
  • Disrupt, damage, overload, or interfere with DeepSound or its supporting services.
  • Use research outputs to misrepresent verified credits, rights ownership, or source certainty.

Subscriptions

Certain DeepSound features may require an active DeepSound Plus subscription. Subscription purchase, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling may be managed through Apple and subject to Apple terms and policies.

Third-Party Services

DeepSound may rely on third-party providers for metadata, artwork, web research, AI summaries, hosting, analytics, subscriptions, and infrastructure. Availability, accuracy, and performance may depend in part on those external services.

Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of DeepSound at any time. We may also revise these Terms of Use, and continued use after changes are posted will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.

Disclaimers

DeepSound is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeepSound and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenues, or business opportunities arising from or related to use of the app or website.
